Hello, I’m Pascal.

I am a French illustrator and comic artist living in Italy. I have been drawing professionally since 2005, and I work with clients all over the world in English, French and Italian.

How I work

I am a storyteller first. Whether it is a four-page comic for children, a safety procedure for an oil company or a picture book for a first-time author, my job is the same: find the clearest, most human way to tell the story in pictures.

My style ranges from clean, colourful cartoon to detailed realistic comics, ink line and light watercolour. I adapt the style to the audience and keep the storytelling at the centre.

A teacher too

I also spent seven years as an international IT trainer for Cisco Systems, teaching in English across Europe, in Singapore and in California. That experience shapes how I work with clients: I explain, I listen and I make complex things simple.

I am a Christian. Much of my work serves Christian publishers, churches and charities, and I lead a weekly online drawing group for Christians who want to learn comics.

Illustrate your book

You have written a children’s book or a story and you want it illustrated? I have done it for several independent authors.

  1. You send the text and tell me about your readers.
  2. I design the main characters and we agree on the style.
  3. I send rough sketches of each illustration for your approval.
  4. I paint the final illustrations and the cover art.
  5. You receive high-resolution image files, ready for your graphic designer.

Workshops & coaching

Comics workshops for churches, schools, summer camps and libraries, for children, teenagers and adults. For four years I have taught at a week-long comics camp for teenagers in Alsace with the Tournesol team, and I have taught drawing in Cremona, Italy.
